The EdgeWalking Collective recently organized this significant community event, showcasing the essential work being done in the end-of-life sector.
OTHER SIDE premiered to sold-out crowds at the South by Southwest Film Festival in March. The film is a feature-length documentary about Lynda Bluestein’s journey accessing Medical Aid in Dying (MAID) in Vermont as an out-of-state resident.

DEATH DIFFERENTLY is a documentary series highlighting alternative approaches to death, dying, and grief. Each character-driven episode focuses on an individual topic - green burial, wind telephones, alternative death advocacy, music thanatology, and many others.
Heather Hogan and Carter Oakley created the feature-length documentary about Lynda Bluestein's journey, and were thrilled to participate in Bainbridge Island's recent event. The filmmakers were on site for the screening and as expert panelists at the Q&A forum afterwards.
