Eternally Curious/Meditation
Meditation is a time-honored tool used for thousands of years across diverse cultures to quiet the mind, restore focus, and cultivate presence. It's especially valuable during challenging times. All EdgeWalking Collective founders use meditation to ground ourselves, align with spirit, and show up fully for our clients.
Every few months, we'll offer a new pre-recorded meditation — accessible anytime, as many times as you need — each including a brief welcome, the meditation, and a closing. Past sessions are available in the archives.

June Meditation
EdgeWalking Collective Meditation
Fears of a Sudden Death
Listening to my heart beat - swish, swish - in the night, I am suddenly
filled with fears of dying.
What if I am dying?
What if I die?
Who will take over all that I've been working on?
Who will work through the mass of papers and projects on my desk?
Who will think that anything I am involved in is still important?
All these questions course through my brain. What IFS!
Who will take care of my beloved dog?
Who will love her the way I do?
Will she still be able to feel my presence? Will she feel abandoned?...

What's Goin Round
I bring my attention to my breath
Breath of life
Thank you for nourishing me
Thank you for circulating the life-force that
Brings Spirit into embodiment.
I bring my attention to my breath
Breathing in... AND ....breathing out
Just-that-much

July/August Meditation
EdgeWalking Collective Meditation
Frances Weller in The Wild Edge of Sorrow, reminds us that “working with grief in a ritual context is a powerful way to address the weight of sorrow in our lives.” Ritual can be done in so many ways – there is no perfect way…other than being tender to oneself. Like a mother responding to the cry of her baby, our grief cries out for loving care.

May/June Meditation
EdgeWalking Collective Meditation on Grief
Grief is not a disease nor an illness to overcome. Grief is the feeling we experience when love is lost…when something, someone we love has been lost. In that sense grief is a factor of love for we live in a finite world. Over our life times there will be innumerable situations to grieve…we can count on that. Yet, it is no reason to hide from
love. We are made to love and lose; to be fully alive to life.

March/April Meditation
EdgeWalking Collective Meditation #4
When fear strikes our psyches, the whole of us responds. Our body’s cellular matter can no longer function at its highest degree. A constriction occurs. We become stuck in a fight or flight response and the miracle of our body’s growth and renewal cycle shuts down.

November Meditation
This month's meditation recording is being provided by EdgeWalking Collective co-founder Kathryn Lafond.
EdgeWalking Collective Meditation #1
Each morning, I routinely make time for stillness and to journal if that is the calling or to simply feel into the more spacious existence of my soul. Sometimes that meditative experience surprises me. It certainly did on a recent morning when it was suggested that I feel into the moment of leaving my body at the time of death. I share my experience with you to help lessen the fear of death.
